Machinery removal and lifting
Block-former towers
Lifted through the roof using a 100 tonne, all- terrain crane located approximately 50m from the central lifting point.
Main gantry sections
Lifted main gantry sections around the blo ck-formers using the 100-tonne, all-terrain crane
Alfamatic unit
Lifted in-situ using a four-point mega lift. This enabled us to install a purpose-made frame to help move the complete unit
A second lift using the mega lift was required in close vicinity to the access to split the unit. The top section was fixed to the mega lift and lowered onto skates. The bottom section was driven through the access, using the mobile crane and installed skates, until it could be lifted by an 80-tonne crane onto the transport.
Cheese vats
Lifted by forklift truck using a purpose-made cradle to protect the vat while it was lifted to allow the removal of the existing feet and the installation of skates. The vat was moved over the ramp created, and lifted clear away from the access.
Plant transportation
Delivered to the port of export Plant transported by sea freight
Machinery installation
Using Franna cranes the Alfamatic and block former towers were brought into the building and positioned and secured safely
Reconfigure
Haas-Tek engineers travelled to Melbourne to
- Supervise offload
- Reconfigure system
- Fit system into new building layout
Meet hygiene standards
