Brewery Plant Relocation

High profile fermentation vessel removal program within the world famous Federation Brewery in Gateshead, the home of Newcastle Brown Ale.

Haas-Tek were appointed to undertake the removal of twelve 150,000 litre fermentation vessels along with all supporting steelwork and gantry assemblies, necessitating the use of a 450te mobile crane and specially designed lifting devices fabricated in-house by Haas-Tek.

A fleet of four extending vessel carrier trailers including Haas-Tek's own vehicle were used to transport the vessels to the new owner's premises on the east coast of Scotland. This required precise coordination with three different police authorities and local councils. Special restrictions were in place meaning that the vessels could only be transported out-with daylight hours but, despite unfavourable weather conditions, the vessels were successfully delivered without any delays.
